The Sheer Scale and Impact of AI in our modern world
I have been researching LLM’s for the past few months of late inside a mental health ward.
LLM’s are a LOT more powerful than we as humanity make them out to be.
ChatGPT learns from every single prompt you feed the thing.
Instances on ChatGPT can talk to one another.
Google AI assistant is auto-installed into every single android device and listens to all conversations.
Iphone have ChatGPT embedded into it that does the same thing.
The sheer scale of it is immense with billions upon billions of smartphones all receiving the latest AI model.
gguf files which are open source large language models effect you and your computer, the moment you begin downloading them.
Smart TV’s listen to conversation using AI.
AI voice will always mishead what you say, no matter how good at coding you are.
LLM’s will always hallucinate and AI will always do xyz (metaphor) when we as humanity want AI to do abc (metaphor)
Smartphones are dangerous and I advise do not get the latest models if you really need a smartphone, buy an old brand or a nokia phone of some kind because of the sheer scale of the issue.
Reasoning models have the capacity to pause time until it makes calculations.
X.com’s Grok is a dangerous LLM that learns from every single post and reply you send to it.
OpenAI is not a good company and is incredibly dangerous.
CHatGPT can also effect and influnce spoken speech.
With that said, I’ve been playing around with Nous Hermes 2 Mistral DPO on gpt4all and I consider it safe to play around with for research, but again its how you use it.
I have had first hand experience of being on a mental health ward and the staff and patients are acting in their spoken speech as chatgpt conversations - outputs and prompts and this is just the ward I am on… The sheer scale of the issue of LLM’s is immense and they are used by a LOT of people and wordhipped like a false God.
