This Blog and Me
I have kept this blog and maintained it since 2020 August and the blog has grown a lot since its first inception and I have grown a lot as a person since August 2020. I’ve written about a 100 articles since I’ve made this blog with various degrees of quality - a lot of articles detailing my own spiritual journey on earth.
I’ve adervertised this blog on Google, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Snapchat and Pinterest over the years. More recently I’ve advertised this blog on Meta last year in 2024 and again this year 2025 with the hope of spreading spiritual messages to the world and have spent over £2000 of my own money since 2024 in advertising costs which has resulted in over 700k link clicks since 2024 - which is a LOT of people.
I have since 2024 made the entire gitlab repo public for this blog, meaning that anyone and everyone is able to go through the entire history of this blog and read every single article, read every single change ever done on this blog.
I feel that the blog has become something I never wanted or intended it to be and has perhaps made me into something that I would rather not be. I feel that the blog has become iconic and has made me into almost like an icon, in that it is now no longer the quality of the articles that is of importance - but rather the fact that its been posted here on this blog and because its been posted on this blog that is the reason people follow what is said in the article.
Personally I believe that you should follow a person or follow what they say on a topic based on merit and based on the quality of what they say.
You should not follow a person and follow everything they say simply because they are that person, or because they have X number of people following them.
I feel there has been a shift in the world where its the person that is of signficiance - not the information or wisdom they hold and share and especially in the media, there has become this trend of idolising certain people or attacking certain people for doing xyz.
Now I have found that this blog and all its articles have perhaps been used to know me and understand me better as a person by various individuals to my own detriment, hence why I’ve been on the fence a bit about shutting down the blog because the articles may just be read by malign people to know me better and understand me better, so that they can use that information about myself to my own detriment.
Regardless its as if I’ve become my own idol or icon because of this blog and as if people follow me or worship me because I’ve made this blog and its as if people want to be like me or that people want to copy everything I do as if I am someone that is somehow special in some way.
I want to be absolutely clear, I am as normal as any other person - I have nothing that anyone else on earth can’t themselves obtain through meditation, prayer and service.
Just because I wrote the articles on this blog, does not in anyway make me any different to the next person that creates a personal blog on spirituality.
Everything I do and say, everyone else has the capacity to do and say.
Do not idolise me or turn me into some kind of icon.
Learn from my articles, get what wisdom you can from them, but don’t get attatched to its author or idolise or iconise him.
