Rewards and God

1 minute read

I may have somewhere in this blog said recently that you should let everyone know about your rewards that God gives.

This is not a good idea.

You do not with desire in your heart obtain rewards from the Lord by simply wanting his rewards.

DO NOT SPEAK OF ANY REWARDS YOU RECEIVE FROM THE LORD.

People gossip and it lessens the pricelessness on the rewards that the Lord almighty brings.

Of course the Lord will not reward thee who go around gloating at what rewards they have - as Jesus once put “They already have their reward”.

But when you pray/fast/meditate do it unseen by others. Lock your room - bolt it shut and do not come out until you have prayed for as long as you possibly can - It was said that Jesus would spend 1 whole hour in prayer at a time. Thus so that the Father who is also unseen sees in secret your good acts and rewards you in secret.

Do not do these practices just to receive rewards from the Lord - it does not work like that, the Lord knows the contents of your heart before you pray and while in prayer.

Do it with the genuine intent of helping others when you pray.

I just felt I needed to be clear on this.

Never boast or share of any rewards you receive from the Lord.
